Head Trauma mainly include three conditions:
concussion, contusion

Permanent neurological deficit resulting in
inability to perform at least
3 activities of daily living as confirmed
by a neurological specialist. |

Caused by a violent blow to the head, resulting
in transient or prolonged  unconsciousness
with or without impairment of higher mental
functions or brainstem functions |

For example, violent shaking of head, fall
from high aptitude |

Absence of wound |

A head injury of sufficient force to bruise
the brain |

More severe than brain concussion |

The bruising of the brain will often involve
the surface of the brain and cause an  extravasation
of blood |

Usually will cause permanent neurological
deficit |
 |
 |

A wound usually can be seen. Cerebral hemorrhage
and cerebral edema are  sometimes
present. |
