medulla region of both kidneys and involving the
collecting ducts. The kidneys will become
very large
and the kidney functin will be

There are 3 types of medullary cystic disease: |
Infantile:
median ages of onset is usually 1-3 years |
Juvenile
: median ages of onset is
usually 13 years |
Adolescent:
median ages of onset is usually 19 years |
